About Rags
Rags is an easygoing, friendly Rottweiler/Retriever mix who landed on his paws thanks to a watchful foster in Detroit. He was picked up walking alone along a busy median, a little rough around the edges, but quick to show his affectionate side. Rags currently shares his home with several other dogs and gets along with everyone, showing a gentle, sweet streak that comes through even when he’s just lazing about. He sports a congenital overbite, often giving him a lopsided grin with his tongue poking out, making him all the more endearing. He came into care with heartworm disease but has undergone treatment and is now heartworm negative and feeling much better. Weighing about 75 pounds and thought to be around 10 years old, he’s searching for a forever family who’ll give him the care and stability he’s missed out on for years. Rags gets along well with other dogs, and he has a loving temperament with children. He’s ready to start the next, happier chapter of his life. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
