About BRUCE Needs a
Bruce is a young mixed-breed Rottweiler who ended up in rescue after being found as a stray. He’s turned out to be a gentle, sweet dog with a smart streak—he picks up training quickly, responds well to being called, and is food-motivated which should make further training easy. Bruce enjoys chew toys, cuddling up close with people, and resting his head on your shoulder. He’s reliably crate trained and already house trained. Bruce has done well meeting other dogs after slow, proper introductions. With cats, his habits are unknown. He’ll do best with children over 7 years old. Applicants need a fully fenced yard—this is non-negotiable. Be aware the adoption process involves a home visit and requires adopters to live within an hour of Birmingham, MI. Bruce’s adopter must also commit to obedience classes if he’s under a year old. He’d appreciate a foster home for now; he’s ready for someone to give him the solid, loving life he deserves.
