About Roscoe
Meet Roscoe, a 2-year-old, 17-pound Chihuahua/Beagle mix ready for a quieter life. He grew up in a house packed with 40 small dogs, so he's naturally good with other dogs but wary of new people and unfamiliar places. In his foster home, Roscoe has started to open up after just a few days—he quietly follows his foster mom from room to room. He enjoys leash walks and is polite on a lead. Housebreaking is a work in progress, but he’s picking it up quickly. Roscoe gets along well with the cats in his foster home, showing patience and respect. He’ll need someone understanding, willing to let him settle in at his own pace. Once Roscoe builds trust, he has all the makings of a loyal companion. Fun fact: as a late-May Gemini, Roscoe’s sun sign is known for intelligence and adaptability. Your new best friend is just one click away.

Questions about Roscoe

Roscoe, being a Chihuahua/Beagle mix, will do best in a stable, quiet home where he can ease into new routines. These breeds adapt to both apartments and houses, provided they have gentle, patient people around.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Roscoe's Chihuahua/Beagle mix doesn’t require a huge yard, but regular walks and opportunities to sniff around a secure outdoor area make a big difference. He’ll be fine with daily walks and some time outdoors for play and exploration.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Chihuahua/Beagle mixes like Roscoe can live with respectful children, though he’ll need time to feel safe. Given his shy start, quieter families with older children may suit him best.
