Meet Madison! This charming little Chihuahua mix was rescued from a hoarding situation, where 51 dogs were living in a small trailer. Thankfully, family members stepped in to help, resulting in Madison and others finding their way to safety. Despite her rough start, Madison is an incredibly sweet and resilient dog. Her foster mom describes her as a loving snuggle bug. Initially timid, Madison took a few days to adjust, but now she follows her foster mom everywhere, relishing every cuddle and playtime with her foster siblings. Her personality shines brighter each day, especially during happy moments when she zooms around greeting her people. With moderate energy, Madison balances playtime with relaxation perfectly. She’s still learning about the world around her, which can be a bit scary at times. New sounds and faces might make her retreat, but with patience and encouragement, she blossoms with confidence. Due to this, she’s best suited for adopters who understand that building her confidence will take time. Madison is making progress with her leash training and is learning about consistent house training—her foster mom ensures she gets outside often and rewards her when she does her business. Smart and responsive, Madison is crate trained and always eager to be close to her humans. This little pup is ready to find her forever family!
