About Rooster
Rooster is a three-year-old, 15-pound Boston Terrier/Chihuahua mix who started out as a stray but quickly found comfort in a foster home. His foster calls him Roo or RooRoo, and he’s a classic chi-mix: he forms tight bonds with his person and craves both cuddling and playtime. Rooster’s got that small-dog feistiness and will put himself between you and other pets, but he’s learned to get along with the resident dog and cats after a warm-up period. He’s house-trained and does best on a solid walk schedule. Roo’s natural loyalty means he prefers to have his person nearby—he’ll happily sit on your lap during work hours (remote workers, take note). It takes him some time to trust new people and animals, but with patience, you’ll gain a seriously devoted companion. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and receives monthly preventatives. Little Rooster is ready to pick his forever person and be your shadow. Click apply to start the adoption process.
