Meet Tina! This adorable little Chihuahua mix is in search of a loving family to help her build confidence and discover the joys of family life. Tina was rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation in North Carolina, where living conditions were cramped and overwhelming. Since arriving at Worthy Dog Rescue, she's transformed from a timid, overwhelmed pup to a loving companion. At first, she preferred the safety of her crate, quietly observing her new environment. But as she settled in, her affectionate personality began to shine through. She enjoys giving kisses, snuggling on the couch, and sleeping beside her humans at night. If you’re on the lookout for a devoted little shadow, Tina might just be your perfect match. Tina thrives in the company of other small dogs and would benefit from having a friendly canine companion to guide her. She’s also content napping on her own while her foster mom is at work and has proven to be reliable in the home. This low- to medium-energy girl enjoys cozy cuddles and the occasional game of fetch. One quirky trait is her amusing "evil teeth" grin when she's excited, which always brings smiles to those around her. Her house training is progressing well. Initially, she had little experience but now goes outside several times a day, though she may still use a pee pad for longer alone periods. As she settles into a routine, we expect her skills to improve. Like many undersocialized dogs, Tina may need time to adjust to new surroundings and could become shy during the transition, but with patience and encouragement, she will continue to thrive.
