About Henny
Meet Henny, a sensitive soul who’s been through more than most. After losing his home in a fire, Henny is learning to trust again—and underneath his quiet surface, he’s a true Velcro dog who thrives on closeness and comfort. Loyalty runs deep with Henny; his happiness depends on being close to his people, and after he settles in, his playful, goofy side comes out quickly. He’s shy and uncertain at first, so he’ll need patience and multiple visits before he decides you’re his person. Once that trust forms, Henny is all affection and eager to please. He’s working on leash skills and new routines—it takes time, but he warms up with encouragement. He can struggle with being alone and may show signs of separation anxiety, so a home with plenty of companionship will suit him best. His coat is medium-shedding, and while he’s still being evaluated with other animals, people are his real comfort. Henny needs a compassionate, steady home where he can finally exhale and settle in for good. He’ll return the favor with lasting loyalty and a tail that wags every time you walk into the room.
