About Lexi
Lexi is a bright, compact little dog with a lovable nature and an easygoing attitude. At about 3 years old, she weighs around 16 lbs and looks like a cross between a Chihuahua, maybe a Toy Fox Terrier, and possibly a bit of Beagle mixed in. No matter her breed blend, she's undeniably sweet and gentle. Lexi is great with people and loves meeting new dogs. She’s often the first to make friends, happy to greet both people and other pups wherever she goes. Her foster notes she has a soft, friendly personality and a playful side, making her a hit at playdates or on neighborhood walks. Lexi thrives with dog companions but could just as well soak up all your attention as the only pet at home. She enjoys a good cuddle session or just hanging out with her people—and her soulful eyes and cute face do her plenty of favors. She’s fully vetted, up to date on shots, and spayed. She’s looking for adopters willing to work on positive reinforcement training, either virtually or in person, to keep her well-mannered and confident. Lexi isn’t fully house trained yet, so she’ll need someone who will help her through the process. Her rescue offers a one-week trial to make sure everyone’s the right fit. Lexi is in Boulder, CO, and ready to join her new family. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
