Poncho is a one-year-old, 14lb Chihuahua/Pug mix with a short apricot coat and a squishy pug face—and a tail to match. He lights up any room he enters with his goofy personality and genuine eagerness to make friends. Fresh from a Texas shelter, within days Poncho became a staff favorite and quickly worked his way into everyone's heart. This guy is a riot: constantly mugging for attention, making funny noises, and embarking on wild zoomies that keep people laughing. He’s equally sweet, always ready for a cuddle or a nap in your lap. Poncho’s social streak extends to his fellow canines. He thrives in the company of other playful, friendly dogs, so a home with another gentle pup is ideal. Poncho’s foster reports he’s truly house trained, does well in his crate at night, and cannot get enough of being close to his people—he would gladly claim a spot in your bed if allowed.
