Meet Mojo, a lovely little guy with a silly and simply awesome personality. And don't forget his sister Mocha, a sweetie-pie with a heart as big as all outdoors! These two loving and sweet as can be 18 month old, 8 pound Chihuahua / Pug mixes are an adorable bonded pair that are searching for their loving forever family. These two love bugs have been displaced from the only home they ever knew. Their owner dropped them off at a kill shelter without a backward glance. Mojo and Mocha were devastated! How could they not have been? They thought their home and family were forever. They thought that their excellent behavior (both are completely house trained and well-behaved) would show how much they loved their home and family. But, sadly it wasn't meant to be. Mojo and Mocha have lived together their entire lives and their connection is very special. They bring each other comfort, confidence and joy. Now that they're out of the shelter, they continue to thrive side by side. They’re happy, friendly, and social little pups. Both are very sweet and love to sit on your lap for cuddles. The saying that two dogs are easier than one is so true with these precious little guys.They don't mind at all just cuddling each other if no human laps are available. A note from Mojo and Mocha's rescuer: Adopting a bonded pair is often much easier than adopting one! Mojo and Mocha keep each other company, help ease transitions, and provide built-in companionship, which can mean less loneliness and a smoother adjustment into a new home. They sleep together (unless of course their family's bed is available), cuddle together, and truly make an irresistible little team. At 8 pounds each, this lovely pair are very portable and will love every adventure. Mojo and Mocha are searching for a kind, loving home that will cherish them both and keep them together forever. After everything they’ve endured, they deserve nothing less than safety, stability, and pure love for the rest of their lives. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this incredible duo, Mojo and Mocha will repay you with double the love, double the snuggles, and double the joy. Farfel's Rescue and our New Mexico rescue partners would love to see these boys in a home with someone who works from home or is retired. We'd hate to see them left alone all day while their family works full-time outside of the home, as they are much too social and sensitive for that type of arrangement. We feel that an excellent placement for Mojo and Mocha is in a home where they'll get consistent stimulation, exercise and of course, nothing but love. A virtual or in-person positive reinforcement training class promotes great behavior, bonding and confidence. Training is so important in the future behaviors of every dog. It's for this reason that we're unwilling to adopt to a family that doesn't make this loving training choice. Mojo and Mocha are both up to date on their vaccinations, have been fully vetted, are in excellent health, heart worm negative, and neutered / spayed to support Farfel's commitment to a "home for every dog" future in the canine population.
