About Cassidy
Cassidy and her best friend Laszlo are a bonded pair and real favorites among volunteers. Cassidy is a 3-year-old, wire-coated terrier mix who weighs about 40 lbs and has a social, outgoing nature. She’s the first to greet anyone and lights up when she gets attention. Cassidy thrives on play, loves toys, and clicks with other dogs and people. She needs an active home with a secure yard—she’s full of energy and always ready to run. She cannot be placed with children younger than 16 due to anxiety and fear caused by young kids in her previous home. Laszlo, a 5-year-old Corgi mix, spent much of his young life as a stray, which shaped his shy, sensitive temperament. He’s now discovered that gentle chest rubs and ear scratches mean more to him than treats, and he looks for calm, patient people who understand dogs with difficult pasts. Laszlo is still wary of leashes and harnesses, so future work and patience are necessary; detailed guidance will be offered to help him adjust at his own pace. The ideal home for Cassidy and Laszlo is quiet and peaceful, experienced with dogs, and committed to positive reinforcement and patience. Both are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and regularly protected from heartworm and fleas. Their new family will quickly learn how rewarding it can be to earn their trust and love. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
