About Shaddock
Shaddock and her brother Cedar make up the Peepers, a bonded pair with tight sibling tiesâyouâll mostly spot them side by side. Their favorite hobby is quietly tailing volunteers around the rescue, peeking out of cubbyholes to keep tabs on whateverâs happening. Both are unusually curious, sharp, and have a particular charm that grows on you. Shaddock is the white and red, short-legged mix, while Cedar sports a reddish-brown coat. Years with a devoted foster have made them much more confident, but the right adopter needs patience. These two savor a low-key, cozy environment and arenât built for constant affection or the classic snuggle routine. Theyâre best as gentle, observant companions who prefer listening from a comfy nook to braving loud adventures. Both sleep together in a crate and are house trained, especially with a dog door or easy outside access. Leash walks arenât their thing, so park excursions wonât excite them, but they get along smoothly with dogs and seem comfortable around cats. Shaddock and Cedar would fit well with someone looking for calm, unobtrusive housemates whoâll quietly notice everything you do. Ready to give these unique siblings a patient, loving home? Theyâre in Indianapolis, IN. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
