This adorable puff looks more like a stuffed animal than a dog. He's about 7 months old and 10#. We were told he was as Maltese / Shih Tzu mix, we think he's some type of little fully breeds. Henri came to us when his family had too many pets for their rental and needed to rehome him. He was raised with cats, dogs and kids - so he does great with all of them. He loves to sit on laps. He also likes to sit in the window like a cat. It’s pretty cute. Currently in foster homes, Henri is learning all things puppy - crate training (going great), housebreaking, and more! He's just about perfect except for some annoying leg lifting. We are hoping his neuter on 5/26 will curb that. It's not all the time and belly bands are helping. Honestly - he's so cute, you can overlook this little inconvenience - hahahahaha! Honestly, I think he could fit in any home. He loves all people dogs cats. Due to this puppy’s smaller size, we aer looking for homes with children over the age of 8. Adopter must be prepared to include grooming in their budget. When he goes home, this puppy will be neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. Puppies are good with dogs, cats, kids and more. Being a puppy, he will need training, including housebreaking. Remember, puppies are cute, but they have sharp teeth, need to be fed 3 times a day and poop... a lot! They will pee and poop in your house - your fault ;) - and will chew on your shoes, your children’s toys and maybe even the furniture. But… once transitioned into your home, he will be a life long companion! Each dog goes home with a goody bag including collar/leash, toys, chews, Kong, and more. You will receive all medical records, microchip transfer form and other paperwork at the time of adoption. Adoptions typically take place in Marysville. Adoption fee is $625. Save-A-Mutt is a registered 501c3 and half of your adoption fee may be tax deductible. Save-A-Mutt is a foster based rescue, we do not have a facility to visit. Our adoptions are typically done Monday - Saturday, we are closed on Sunday’s to give our volunteers at least one day off. You must be available to do meets and adoptions during that time frame. We can make exceptions only with the approval of the foster home. Please note, we have approximately a 300 mile adoption radius - Portland OR area and Vancouver BC is the farthest north. We don’t ship dogs, once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood WA to pick up your dog.
