About Fiona

FIRST STEPS: Please visit https://www.save-a-mutt.org/adoption-application/ to fill out an application - a Petfinder Inquiry is not the adoption process. We don't do meet and greets until applications have been approved. All our dogs are located IN Washington State. We are a local foster home based rescue. Fiona is a sensitive girl who is longing for a family that will cherish her for the rest of her life. She has been through a lot of changes and she is ready to settle down. Fiona will be happiest with a family that has a calm, predictable routine. She takes little while to warm up so a patient person will be very important. It will be worth the wait because as soon as she realizes that she is safe she will be your best friend. Fiona's foster family has taught her proper house manners and her adopter will need to continue with her routine to keep her successful. Fiona would love to be someone's one and only but she would also be fine with another dog her size. She is a bit of a boss so any other dog should be confident and willing to let Fiona be in charge sometimes. We don't think Fiona would enjoy cats, therefore, we are asking for a feline free home. Fiona doesn't mind the sound of her voice which makes her unsuitable for apartment life. We are asking for an adult only home for Fiona. Fiona recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. She was also recently spayed and received a dental. Fiona is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. She is 8 years old and weighs 7 pounds. Please note, we have approximately a 200 mile adoption radius from Stanwood WA for our Senior Dogs. Save-A-Mutt may limit this distance based on the long term needs of this pet. We don’t adopt out of state except to the Vancouver BC area. We don’t ship dogs. Once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood WA to pick up their dog. For questions about this dog please call Elizabeth Woche, Senior and Special Needs Dog Coordinator, at 425-974-9479
