A LOVELY-NATURED GUY: Approx. 2 years old / Approx. 34 lbs. Hi, my name’s Howell! I’m a wonderful fellow with lots of love to share! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I couldn’t be happier to be part of the Mostly Mutts family! I hear that once you are a Mostly Mutt, you take the next step to getting a wonderful home of your very own. I am on board for that! I came in heartworm positive, but I'll be treated for that soon and I hope to be with my new family before my treatment starts. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I came in a little nervous, but that didn’t last long and I’ve really settled in and shown what a great dog I am. The volunteers report that I’m sweet, obedient, and eager to please. I’m also happy, active, and friendly, with a cute little prance and a loving personality. And yes, I’m pretty handsome, too! / Energy level: 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘down’ and ‘come’ commands and I look forward to learning even more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / My crate manners have been good at Mostly Mutts. / I’ve had very few accidents on the shelter schedule. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love playing with toys, getting attention and I also enjoy giving some sweet hugs to the sweet volunteers, and I’m sure once I’m in my new home, we’ll discover even more things we’ll enjoy doing together! / I can’t think of any dislikes yet, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise (once I’ve completed my HW treatment and rest period), and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. Sadly, I wasn’t kept on heartworm prevention in my previous home, so I’m heartworm positive. The good news is that I’ll be treated for that in early July 2026, and Mostly Mutts will cover the cost of that treatment with their vet. I hope to be with my new family before treatment begins! I’m a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful family to have a great life with! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
