Weston is about a year old and weighs 26 lbs—still young, with a friendly, calm way about him. He came from animal control and quickly warmed up to the volunteers at Mostly Mutts. Weston really bonds with people and enjoys gentle cuddles. While he sometimes gets confused by new things like baths, he adapts well and seems to trust those caring for him. He takes comfort from human presence and likes leaning close during quieter moments. He’s gentle on walks and eager to keep learning new skills with his adopter—he’s already got 'sit' down thanks to some basic training. Weston needs to be an only dog as he prefers not to share his space with other pups. If you have young kids, careful introductions are a must—he’s never met children before and due to his size and energy, no toddlers, please. Weston could become nervous around walking canes, so a household without them is needed. He’s house trained and does well with crate time.
