Sadly, it seems like Peyton wasn’t shown much love prior to rescue, and as a result she can be quite shy and nervous around new people or when she’s in new situations. This sweet girl will need a very patient family who’s willing to give her the time and space she needs to fully decompress. With consistency, gentleness, and a calm environment, Peyton will continue to blossom into the loving, trusting dog we know she can be! Once Peyton does open up, she is a LOVE BUG and highly affectionate! One of her favorite things to do is cuddle and smother her favorite people with kisses! As if she could get any sweeter, she is GREAT with other dogs and has no food, toy, OR water aggression towards people OR other dogs! She really opens up when other dogs are around to play with so having another furbaby in the home might help her to warm up in her future family!
