This lovely girl is Darla! She arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 5/5. Her people must have learned she was at the shelter and decided to surrender her because we do know that she is noted to be house-trained and dog friendly. The volunteers describe Darla as everything a young dog should be: friendly, curious, playful, and attentive. She already responds to several commands including sit, down, and stay. Please ensure you have the time, energy, and patience to welcome a young dog into your life before committing to Darla. Darla is approximately 10 months old, and is a medium-sized dog. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet Darla in kennel 19; her ID # is 18754.
