A FUN & FRIENDLY FELLOW: Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 31 lbs. Hi there! My name is Mateo! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and I’m so glad they brought me into the Mostly Mutts family. I am soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers here and I heard them say that I’m now ready to find a family of my very own. I think that is the best news ever! Plan to come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and though I wasn’t quite ready to play with them, I was interested and did not show any aggression, so if you have a dog already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a friendly, playful, and energetic boy who is full of fun and sweetness. I was very brave during my bath - I hung out in the tub and seemed to enjoy the water sprayer! I also did great for my ear cleaning, showing what a patient and attentive boy I can be. I’m a fun-loving, friendly pup who’s ready to share lots of joy and affection. / Energy level: 6-8, so I’ll want to be active with my family. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’ and ‘place’ commands and I look forward to learning more. I’m working on a bit of jumping and mouthiness with my trainer now, so just ask how it’s coming along. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / My crate manners have been good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love running around the playpen and chasing a ball - it’s so much fun! I also enjoy playing with toys, and I’m sure we’ll discover even more things we love doing together once I’m in my new home. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I’m getting some medicated baths for a little longer to help my skin feel good and these can be done in my new home. I’m a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful family to share a great life with!
