About Bobo Del Rey
Bobo Del Rey’s story started with hardship—left out in the sun with his feline relatives, he was rescued alongside a dozen others from a church in Whittier, California. Despite the initial trauma, Bobo Del Rey proved to be not only resilient but thriving. He’s made himself right at home in foster care in Hemet, CA, steadily making peace with the uncertainty in his past. He’s a striking Egyptian Mau/Tabby mix with a short, spotted coat that catches the light when he darts after treats. Bobo’s energy level is high—he throws himself wholeheartedly into play, often charging after snacks and climbing whatever’s in reach. Yet, he’s not all boldness: around people he doesn’t know, Bobo is shy. Give him time and a calm environment, though, and his affectionate, loyal side comes out. This cat enjoys the company of both cats and dogs, showing genuine curiosity toward new canine friends. He isn’t accustomed to young children, so a quieter household suits him best. Patience is rewarded with Bobo Del Rey. He’ll transform from cautious observer to a goofy, affectionate shadow. His intelligence and independent streak mean he’ll thrive with gentle encouragement and consistent routine. If you’re looking for a companion who’s equal parts playful and clever, with just enough quirks to keep things interesting, Bobo Del Rey fits the bill. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
