Rachel Valdez was one of 13 cats abandoned outside a church in Whittier and has bounced back with resilience and curiosity. Although sheās experienced more than her share of upheaval, now sheās a pampered, affectionate young cat enjoying a comfortable foster environment in Hemet, CA. Sheās at that sweet spotānot a kittenās blur of chaos, but still playful, and sheās known for her adorable butt-drop greeting dance. Rachel truly enjoys being picked up and petted and will melt your heart with her big, hopeful eyes. Sheās a social cat and gets along well with other cats, always ready for a solo play session with her favorite toys. Rachel may be a bit sassy, as her personality emerges, but that adds to her charm. She loves her canned food and isnāt shy about telling you when itās mealtime. There are a few minor scratches on her cornea, but they donāt faze her in the leastāher eyesight is just fine, and thereās no extra care needed. She hasnāt met young children or lived with dogs, though she seems curious around them, so gradual introductions could work.
