About Eneru
Eneru's story has taken some sharp turns, but he’s still as sweet as ever. Rescued from a harsh hoarding situation, he’s proven tough and resilient. With his short brown tabby coat, unique ear (healed from an old untreated hematoma), and soulful look, Eneru stands out. He’s about six years old now and has been with other cats and dogs. No experience with kids but seems ready to settle in with a patient household. Eneru is initially shy, but give him a bit and he softens right up—tilting his head for pets and nudging for attention. He loves to play, especially with lasers or anything he can chase. Previously returned by an adopter who found him a bit too needy, Eneru will do best with someone who’s OK with a bit of extra togetherness and can handle some simple grooming. He’s neutered, fully vetted, and gets along well with other cats and friendly dogs. He’ll need to be picked up in person if you’re applying from out of state.
