Nezumi
AvailableNezumi is a neutered young male Egyptian Mau and Domestic Long Hair mix with a short, striking brown and spotted tabby coat. He is about 4 years and 9 months old, already house trained, and currently living in Hemet, CA. His vaccinations are up to date, and he is comfortable around other cats and dogs.
About Nezumi
Nezumi came to the rescue from a challenging past but has always managed to keep his gentle personality intact. He was pulled from a hoarding situation along with dozens of other cats, but since settling into the rescue, he has shown just how loving and social a cat can be once given a second chance. At first, Nezumi might keep his distance, a little cautious as he gets the lay of the land. It doesn't take long, though, before curiosity wins out—he warms up and starts following you around, ready to help with chores or flop over for a round of head scratches. Mop time seems to be a highlight for him. He’s playful and has a knack for making everyone laugh with his antics, and mealtime brings out his talkative side. Expect him to remind you when canned food is due, loudly and enthusiastically. Nezumi is happiest when he's part of daily life and has a companion, especially another cat; he’s lived with both cats and dogs before, though his exposure to children is unknown. His unusual tabby coat and expressive face are eye-catching, and his purr can fill a room. A quick transition from shy to seeking affection is his style, and if you have another cat, he’ll probably become fast friends. Nezumi is in Hemet, CA, and ready for adoption now.
