Harper is a nine-year-old Yorkshire Terrier who tips the scales at just 7 lbs. Fostered in Indian Trail, NC, she continues to win over everyone she meets with her gentle nature and love for sunbathing. Allergy season hasn’t been easy for her, and she sometimes has skin flare-ups that supplements and special food help manage. She also struggles with fecal incontinence due to a pocket of fluid on her spine—a condition that’s stable but requires her foster mom to keep washable blankets handy. This little sun seeker adores attention, nudging your hand for pets and affection, and she’ll happily curl up in her bed or on the couch throughout the day. She’s not one for toys but does love car rides (as long as she’s safely buckled in her seat) and is crate trained if needed. Despite having lost several teeth during her last dental, Harper still brightens every room she enters with kisses and cuddles. She is shy at times but blossoms around kind people. Harper does not get along with children, so she’s best suited to an adult home.
