Bruno is a small, senior Yorkshire Terrier with a big personality. He has dealt with many health challenges, including a sensitive stomach, an autoimmune skin condition that's now in remission, and hip and leg issues that required surgery and ongoing therapy. Despite all this, Bruno remains energetic, playful, and fiercely affectionate. He thrives on interaction, especially games with his toys and being chased with a favorite plush in his mouth. Bruno loves snuggling under blankets for a nap and will stare at you with happiness and excitement even after a tough day. He does need to wear a belly band due to frequent marking, likely a carryover from his earlier life where he didn't get house training. His foster mom has him on a strict, low-fat veterinary diet to prevent GI issues, and regular medical supervision keeps his metrics in check. Bruno is sensitive to changes in food but is currently thriving on a diet that works for him. While his hips aren't perfect and his back legs sometimes need help, he gets around with joy and greets each new day with enthusiasm. Bruno gets along with other dogs and with cats, but he isn't suited for a home with children. He loves attention, car rides, and has even adapted to riding in a stroller for crate rest.
