About Olivia
Olivia is a small Yorkshire Terrier with apricot and beige fur, settling comfortably into her golden years. At 9 years old, she’s both a survivor and a character; after coming into rescue in rough shape with multiple mammary tumors, she’s made an impressive recovery. Her surgery for the tumors went well and she’s now spayed, freshly dental cleaned, and feeling much better. Olivia still has a fluid-filled cyst on her head—from time to time it needs to be emptied, but it’s not a major issue. She can have a bossy streak, barking or even “screaming” to let you know when she wants to come in or get a boost onto the couch. Even so, she’s happiest close to her person and has no trouble using the stairs to climb up onto the bed for a restful night’s sleep. Olivia gets along with both dogs and cats but not with children, making her best suited for an adult home. She’s come a long way from her sad shelter days and is ready for a thoughtful adopter who understands her routine and needs. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
