About Kuzco
Kuzco, also called Koozy, has a huge heart packed into a small frame. He’s six years old, around 12 pounds, and radiates affection and playfulness. Happy to hang out with other dogs, he’s just as content curled up with a friend as he is tossing his toys or bones up in the air for a one-dog show. He’s got a quirky way of asking for playtime—he’ll nudge you with a toy or simply start entertaining himself, which is downright charming to watch. Health-wise, Kuzco faces some unique challenges. He lives with Diabetes Insipidus Central and follows a low-sodium diet. He needs an adopter committed to working with a vet on his condition—sometimes he needs a belly band when left alone due to the risk of accidents, and he’s seeing a specialist for some mobility concerns that began with a puppyhood leg fracture. Even with these issues, he’s always happy, generous with kisses, and wants nothing more than to share your bed or couch. Kuzco is not house trained but he asks to go outside, bringing optimism and affection wherever he goes. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is ready for someone patient and caring to make him part of their family. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
