About Bandit
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Bandit! He truly lives up to his name, stealing the hearts of every volunteer who meets him. Bandit is a medium-sized, short-haired, yellow-tan Carolina Dog mix, currently around 38 lbs and about 10 months old. He’s dog-friendly and is eager to make new friends in the play yard. Being a playful puppy, Bandit is still learning his manners, especially when it comes to greeting people with a jump of excitement. Recently, Bandit went on a field trip where his handler shared that while he was a bit unsure about loading into a truck bed for his first ride, he allowed himself to be picked up and rode quietly the entire way. At the park, he delighted in exploring on a long lead, showing that classic puppy fun and boundless energy. Bandit’s recall is a work in progress, but he happily runs right to you, tail wagging, ready for affection. He’s curious about children and toys, and loves to interact with other dogs. Though he’s still working on his leash manners, Bandit improves each time, showing his eagerness to learn. His affectionate nature shines as he cuddles up to anyone offering attention, always with a big puppy smile. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
