Meet Roxy! Roxy came to us with her dog friend Bella. She previously resided with over 20 other dogs. Roxy does best with dogs that are not in your face/pushy dogs. She walks nicely on a leash and is potty trained. Roxy is about 4 years old and 50 lbs. She appears to be a husky mix with Shiba Inu vibes? She passed her cat test but is not a fan of the crate, she really wants to be where her people are and would do best in a home where her human work can be with her (retired, or works remotely). She got a day out of the Pound. This is what her handler had to say. “Roxy did not know how to load into the truck bed, so she was picked up to be hooked up for the ride. She rode very well, but make sure she goes potty before you head out. She does know how to load into the cab of the truck easily. She enjoyed exploring during her park time and did not pull or play hard when on the 30’ line. Roxy did not display a consistent recall, but showed improvement especially later in the morning during her walk through town. She showed a nervousness when in heavy traffic on the streets and also in congested areas of businesses, she will need some desensitization which consistent socialization will help her in those situations. She likes to walk at a brisk pace and was really happy when we started jogging. She started to settle into her walk nicely and improved on her commands and cues. She meets everyone respectfully and enjoys affection with petting throughout her entire body.
