About Igor Aka "iggy"

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Igor, also known as Iggy! When Iggy first arrived at the shelter as a small puppy, he was fighting for his life due to severe bite wounds and infections. Through numerous surgeries, months of daily care, and the odds stacked against him, Iggy’s resilience shone through. Despite all he endured—including wearing a cone for months and enduring multiple medicated baths—he kept his playful, loving spirit intact. Now nearly a year old and weighing around 59 pounds, Iggy is thriving and ready for a forever home. He’s wonderful with dogs and children alike, and absolutely loves his toys. Iggy’s joyful personality makes him a crowd favorite, especially at adoption events, and you’ll love his uniquely expressive radar ears. As the result of allergic reactions to fleas, Iggy does require lifelong oral flea prevention and occasional medicated baths—an important consideration for future adopters. Despite these needs, he’s a shining example of courage and affection. He’s waiting to become the star of your family and your next companion! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
