Igor, known as Iggy, arrived as a young, badly wounded pup. He faced an uphill battle with multiple infected bite wounds and a real risk of losing a back leg. Through months of surgeries, sedated bandage changes, a stubborn cone, and relentless medications, Iggy refused to give in. He kept his upbeat spirit despite infection setbacks, countless medicated baths, and allergy challenges. Now, Iggy stands strong at almost a year old and around 59 lbs—a big, happy dog with radar ears and a soft spot for toys. Iggy gets along with dogs and children, thriving when the spotlight is on him at adoption events. He does require special care for allergies: long-term oral flea meds and a couple of monthly medicated baths are a must. His determination, affectionate nature, and playful energy make him special.
