Winnie is a senior female Pit Bull Terrier with a black coat, based in Philadelphia, PA. At 7 years and 3 months old, she’s spayed, house trained, and vaccinated. Despite her age, Winnie brings both energy and a love of cuddling. She’s a small-to-medium build, making her surprisingly petite for her breed. You can find her enjoying slow mornings and daily walks in her foster home.

About Winnie

Winnie—also lovingly called Mini Winnie and Wiggly Winnie—is all easy sweetness bundled up in a compact body. She’s spent the last couple of weeks relaxing into her foster home, showing off her silly, snuggly side and that trademark pit bull grin. Though she’s a senior at heart, Winnie surprises with her bursts of energy and readiness for longer walks. She loves lazy mornings under the covers and stays close to her humans, happiest when cuddled up or ambling beside you. Winnie aims to please and thrives on routine. She sits for treats at every corner, never tries to steal food (even around the cat), and seeks out permission with a tilt of that expressive head. She’s learning more cues every day like “paw” and “stay.” Nothing phases her for long—you can bathe her, pick her up, even steal her bully stick, and she just wags and wiggles. Noises can startle her but her confidence grows with every day. Despite a big noggin and that infamous snore, she’s a petite 17 inches tall and fully housebroken. She enjoys two to three walks daily, two meals (with joint-support powder added at night), and rides in the car for short outings. Winnie is the real deal: gentle, grateful, and such a breeze to have around. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
