AvailableAbout Dax
Dax (A141057) is a 6-month-old Husky x Rottweiler mix available for adoption! 04/25/26 Dax, formerly known as Grunden has once again found his way back to the shelter. Dax was surrendered this time due to his most recent owner felt they could not handle his timid nature. They advised that he was a smart dog who learned tricks well however he would hide under their bed. The advised that Dax is now house broken, and enjoys gentle play. Dax is looking for a home that is willing help him grow into a confident well rounded dog! If you are interested in meeting Dax please give us a call! 03/28/26 This handsome guy is back again because his most recent owners felt they were not properly equipped to handle his socialization. Grunden can be fearful in new situations. While he has been eager to greet all members of the care staff at the shelter, it is likely that he may take longer to adjust in a home setting. He would do best in a quieter home that will patiently allow him to get his bearings and feel comfortable. Grunden was said to do well with babies and children in his most recent home, as well as other dogs. He has been known to chew and jump fences, so make sure he has plenty of appropriate chew toys and is secured on a leash or tie out when outside. He does need some help with mastering potty training and learning some manners, but he is young so we have confidence in him! If you are interested in meeting Grunden, please give us a call! 02/21/26 Mister Grunden is back at the shelter after a brief adoption due to his most recent owner discovering they were actually severely allergic to him! If you are interested in meeting Grunden, please give us a call! 02/03/26 These adorable pups were surrendered to the shelter in hopes of finding their new places to call home! Their mom was stated to be a Rottweiler x Lab mix, and their dad was unknown (however, we suspect that their dad is a Husky x GSD mix). Puppies are a lot of work but worth the reward if you have the time to devote to them. They have been working on kennel training but will need continued help with all of their training – kennel training, potty training, basic commands, and continued positive socialization. They were described as very friendly puppies who have done well with people of all ages. They were also said to be playful with other dogs and to do well with the cat in the home. Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions with all new potential friends. These pups were known to chew, and are teething, so providing them with appropriate toys, so they do not chew on you, is important! Frozen kongs can be a great tool! If you are interested in meeting any of these rambunctious pups, please let us know!
