About Lilo
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Lilo, a 3-year-old Husky and Pointer mix who came to the shelter after her previous owner could no longer provide the active lifestyle she loves. At intake, Lilo weighed 50 pounds and, like her siblings, she's been an enthusiastic sled dog, thriving on having a job and plenty of outdoor activity. She’s used to outdoor living in a dog house but enjoyed time inside during particularly cold weather, so she’s open to new experiences with the right guidance. Lilo isn’t housebroken yet, so any adopter should be ready to help her learn indoor skills like potty training, crate training, and basic commands. She knows her mushing commands and is excited to join adventures such as skijoring, bikejoring, hiking, or joining a recreational sled team. Lilo will need an adopter who provides both mental and physical stimulation to channel her energy positively. If you can give this smart, eager dog the active life she deserves, she’ll reward you with loyalty and unforgettable adventures. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
