Xena arrived at the shelter and has since defaulted to the borough. She had thinning hair on arrival at the shelter and was assessed by the vet. She was treated topically to rule out mites but will require a recheck in 3 weeks (5/5/26). She also needs to stay in her cone until her recheck. A citizen who was acquainted with Xena stated that she was kennel-trained, housebroken, and knew her basic commands. She was also said to do well with other dogs but was known to chase cats. Please ensure you are making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with all new critters to help set her up for continued success.
