Wilson is a 1-year-old, 50 lb Border Collie/Lab mix (with maybe a little Pyrenees mixed in) who is currently thriving in foster care and ready to find his forever home! This handsome boy is sweet, goofy, and full of personality. He’s the kind of dog that keeps you smiling with his silly antics while also being a total cuddlebug who loves being close to his people. Wilson has been a quick learner in foster care and is already making great progress. He’s doing well with house training, knows “sit” and “down,” and is improving quickly with name recall. He’s very treat and toy motivated and loves having bones, antlers, or something to chew on to keep himself busy. He enjoys playing with other dogs and loves to run, so he would thrive in a home with another playful dog to be his buddy. He’s also done well in dog park settings and enjoys socializing. Wilson walks into new situations with a nice, controlled energy and does well meeting new people, rarely jumping up. He’s an active, fun-loving dog who would do best in a home that can keep up with his energy and continue his training and structure. He does have a high prey drive, so no cats for Wilson. Because he can get a bit anxious when left alone, Wilson would do best in a home where someone is around often or can include him in daily activities and adventures. Wilson is looking for an active, loving home that will continue to help him grow, keep him engaged, and include him as part of the family.
