About Cassidy
Cassidy is a sharp, active one-year-old Idaho Shag/Airedale mix now thriving in foster care after her time as a stray. She brings classic working-dog smarts and a focused, driven personality. Cassidy wakes up ready for action—she heads outside and instantly finds herself a job, always observing and interacting with her environment. She needs an experienced handler, someone comfortable with herding or working breeds, who can give her structure, purpose, and consistent training. Cassidy isn't a fit for first-time owners or crowded surroundings. She requires a standalone home outside the city, with a securely fenced yard, where she can exercise her strong instincts and energy level. Cassidy does well with other confident, active dogs and thrives with a rough-and-tumble playmate, but isn't suitable around small dogs, cats, or children due to her prey drive and play style. She must have a daily job—think ongoing training or dog sports. No apartment living, no small pets, and no young kids. In the right hands, Cassidy will shine as a loyal, tireless working partner. She is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!

Questions about Cassidy
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Cassidy, as a working mixed-breed dog, thrives in homes with plenty of space to roam and a chance for daily activity. A house with a securely fenced yard in a quiet area suits her perfectly.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
This breed mix, including Cassidy, does best with regular access to a large backyard or open environment. Apartment life wouldn’t meet her energy or mental needs.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Cassidy, like many herding and working breed mixes, is not suitable for homes with children due to her high drive and energetic play style.
