About Fergie
Fergie is an energetic and affectionate Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for a home that can keep up with her lively spirit. Despite her short and stocky frame, she’s full of playful energy—long walks and tug-of-war games suit her best. Fergie is at her happiest when she’s close to her people and loves to cuddle on the couch after a day of activities. She has a loyal, sweet nature and quickly warms up to guests, acting as her foster’s enthusiastic welcome committee. Out on walks, she can be reactive to other dogs and cats, so she’ll need to be the only pet in her new home. Given her strength and high energy, Fergie’s ideal family will be committed to her training and comfortable continuing work on her leash manners and basic commands. She’s food motivated and smart—she has already learned ‘sit’ and is picking up more skills every day. Fergie does best in a home without young children. She truly is the princess of her castle who needs structure, boundaries, and plenty of love. If you’re ready for a devoted companion who wants to be your shadow, Fergie could be the one. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
