Lavender is a sweet, gentle girl who seems truly grateful to finally be safe and loved. If you're looking for a devoted companion who simply wants to be near her people, Lavender may be the perfect match. Lavender has had a difficult beginning, and she carries visible scars from what appear to be old bite wounds on her head, legs, and tail, and her ears have been sadly cropped. Despite everything she has been through, Lavender's spirit is soft and affectionate, and she will happily embrace a brighter future. She loves spending time outside with her humans but doesn't want to be left out there alone. Around the house, she will happily follow you from room to room, offering quiet companionship without being overly demanding. Lavender is comfortable with her kennel and will go right in when the door is open, though her foster mom is currently giving her extra freedom by letting her sleep in the laundry room. One of Lavender's favorite things in the world is a deep chest massage - it completely melts her into total relaxation. She also loves giving kisses and soaking up affection. She has had only one potty accident while adjusting to her new environment, and overall she is doing very well with her house manners. Lavender has also been sweet and gentle with older children who have visited her foster home. She is a loving, grateful girl who deserves a home filled with kindness, comfort, and the steady love she has always been waiting for.
