This sweet 5-year-old beagle experienced a sudden change when his adopter could no longer care for him due to an unexpected family emergency. Now, Buddy is looking for the family who will cherish him through thick and thin. With a big personality packed into his small frame, Buddy thrives on energy and attention. He loves being close to his people and enjoys exercise and enrichment activities. However, he can feel anxious when left alone and might chew on things if worried. His beagle voice is quite vocal; he’ll let you know when he has something to say! Buddy prefers a family where someone is around most of the time. A patient adopter who can help him build confidence and manage his separation anxiety will be ideal. He’s great with older children, as his happy zoomies could unintentionally knock over little ones. While he’s okay with other dogs, a calm introduction is key since he had a scary dog attack in the past, resulting in the loss of part of his ear. He'd be wonderfully content as your one and only. This charming boy also has beagle pain syndrome, but it's manageable with medication that he rarely needs.
