Rocket was surrendered to the shelter because his owner was getting frustrated with him running away. He is looking for a home that can keep him contained. He should always be on a leash, secure tie-out, or supervised when in a fenced-in yard. Rocket is a young active boy so he is looking for a home that can provide him with both mental and physical stimulated. He would love to take his next owner on plenty of walks and might even enjoy learning how to skijor or bikejor in the summer months! Rocket was said to be kennel-trained and housebroken. He also knows the command sit but would still benefit from working on his manners with a certified trainer in an obedience class. Rocket was said to enjoy lounging indoors and was said to be an indoor dog. However, he does love chewing on things so providing him with appropriate chew toys is important!
