Ford is a happy, medium-sized pup with a personality as reliable and spirited as the truck he’s named after. Just like a classic Ford, he’s built for loyalty, fun, and everyday adventure, whether he is cruising down the sidewalk or prancing around with what his foster mom calls “twinkle toes”. Thought to be around 18 months old, Ford is fully house-trained, 95% crate-trained, and has mastered his commands, including sit, down, drop it, and crate. Ford will let you know he needs to go potty by standing at the back door. He sleeps in his crate all night without making a peep. He has amazing recall, even when he is being an Explorer in the backyard. Ford is great with kids and has done well with other dogs, making him a top prospect for many homes. On walks, Ford greets the world with curiosity, convinced every dog is a potential playmate. He has learned to ignore the people and squirrels we prance past. He loves being in the backyard but often needs you to kickstart his zoomies. Once he gets going, he runs laps like he is practicing for the Daytona 500. Inside, he will always find a lap to sit on or an arm to curl up under. Ford is ready to be a shotgun rider and cruise through life with you. We love our dogs. We want happy lives for all of them and are looking for the home that provides the best fit for each dog’s individual needs.
