About Nutmeg
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Allow us to introduce Nutmeg! Born on February 8, 2025, under the sign of Aquarius, she’s sure to bring a splash of dynamic and unique personality to your family—Aquarians are known for their fun-loving and independent spirits. Nutmeg came into this world as part of a surprise litter after her mom, Helena, was rescued from a crowded shelter. As one of six little ones, Nutmeg stands out with her adorable looks and charming energy. Nutmeg’s mom is likely a Chihuahua mix, and while her dad’s breed is a mystery, it’s expected that Nutmeg will weigh no more than 20 lbs full grown. Future adopters should be open-minded if she surprises everyone and grows a bit larger. Nutmeg has already been dewormed, is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccines, and will be spayed and microchipped (at the rescue’s partnering clinic) when the time is right. Her short, golden and white/cream coat is a delight to touch, and she’s already made strides toward being house trained. Nutmeg is set to be ready to join her forever family in early June. If playful puppy energy and gentle sweetness would make the perfect addition to your home, Nutmeg could be just what you’re looking for. BAARK Dog Rescue is located in Barrington, IL and adopts locally. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
