About Sage
Meet Sage, born February 8, 2025—a true Aquarius, which makes her extra charming and a little bit quirky. Sage and her siblings were a surprise for everyone, arriving a couple months after their mother, Helena, was pulled from an overcrowded Kentucky shelter. Helena likely has some Chihuahua in her, but with no idea who dad was, Sage ended up a unique blend of terrier and Chihuahua traits. Sage has been checked by a vet and dewormed. Her vaccinations are current for her age. She will be spayed and microchipped when old enough, and this is all covered if you use the rescue’s vet clinic. Expect Sage to reach an adult size under 20 lbs, but adopters should be ready for her to surprise you and possibly end up a bit bigger. She’s house trained and gets along with other dogs. Sage has the friendly energy you'd expect in a young pup. She will be ready to move to her forever home in early June. Sage is currently in Barrington Hills, IL and the rescue adopts locally.
