Meet Sage, born Feb 8, 2025. When we brought Mom-Dog Helena up from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky back in December, little did we know she’d be delivering puppies a couple months later. Her six puppies one boy and five girls are absolutely adorable. Helena is likely a Chihuahua Mix and of course we have no idea of the breed of the father-dog. We expect the puppies to grow to an adult weight no greater than 20 lbs. However any adopter must be aware and accepting if the puppy grows into a larger adult! Sage has visited the vet a couple of times, has been dewormed, is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. She will be spayed when appropriate (we do not do early spay/neuter). Her spay and microchipping are included in her adoption fee as long as it is done by our vet clinic.. Sage and her litter mates will be ready to move along to their forever homes early June.
