About Chopper
Chopper was born on February 8, making him an Aquarius—a sign known for its playful and spirited nature. He’s one of six puppies born to their devoted mom, Helena, after she was brought up from a Kentucky shelter. Chopper’s early weeks have been spent with his siblings, learning and growing together. He’s a Chihuahua-Terrier mix (at least on mom’s side) and is expected to reach 20–25 lbs as an adult, but adopters should stay open-minded in case he surprises everyone by growing a bit larger. Chopper has made several trips to the vet and already checked deworming and vaccinations off his list for his age. He isn’t house trained yet, but he’s young and ready to learn good habits. Neutering and microchipping are included in his adoption through the rescue’s vet clinic when he’s old enough. Chopper gets along well with other dogs. He’ll be ready for his new home in early June.
