Pluto came to Logan’s Rescue in March 2026 as a transfer from the Humane Society after being confiscated from a hoarding situation. It took him a few days to realize he was no longer in survival mode, and he can still be shy in new situations. Once he warms up, though, he becomes a total love—Pluto is a true belly rub connoisseur and will happily flop over for just about anyone willing to give him some attention! He is currently living in a foster home with dogs of all sizes, cats, and two small children. Pluto does well with everyone, but he would thrive in a home with another confident dog to provide companionship and help build his confidence. He would especially love to be adopted alongside his friend Minnie! While Pluto tolerates young children, they aren’t his favorite, so a home without small kids (or with older, respectful children) would likely be the best fit for him. He is also comfortable around a wheelchair and takes it all in stride. Pluto is mostly house-trained. He was only recently neutered and still shows some marking behavior, which should improve as his hormones settle. He will require a secure, fenced-in yard, as he is still working on becoming comfortable walking on a leash.
