About Scooby Doo
Scooby Doo is trying to crack his biggest case yet: finding someone to be his Shaggy. Recently surrendered due to changes in his last family’s living situation, Scooby Doo is making the best of his time in the shelter, but it's clear he craves a real home. He’s a medium-sized terrier/chihuahua mix with a short coat and a gentle soul. Like his cartoon namesake, Scooby has a skittish side—he’s shy with new people and needs patience, kindness, and maybe a few treats before he comes out of his shell. Once he feels safe, he really gets attached and loves cuddling up close. The shelter staff call him a big baby who just wants to love and be loved. In his previous home, Scooby Doo lived with other dogs and may do well with a calm canine buddy who can show him the ropes. He hasn’t had much experience with children, but staff recommend older kids (12+) who understand boundaries. Meet and greets are encouraged if you already have dogs or kids at home. Scooby Doo is more than ready to meet his true family and head out on new adventures (Mystery Machine not required). Ready to see if you’re the missing piece in his story?
