About Minnie

Minnie arrived at Logan’s Rescue in Ontario, NY after her previous life in a hoarding situation. She was quick to warm up and has become one of the friendliest in her group. Minnie's a small, gentle Chihuahua mix with a medium-length black and tan coat. She lives with other dogs (of all sizes), cats, and small children, so you can expect a dog who knows how to get along. She’s not picky about a home with or without kids, and though her buddy Pluto hopes they’ll find a home together, Minnie doesn’t insist on it. Minnie is house-trained and currently perfecting her leash manners, but her new home MUST have a secure, fenced yard. She’s quick and clever—she can climb, dig, and squeeze through almost anything if startled, so you’ll need to be ready to upgrade fencing as needed. Despite her Houdini skills, Minnie is at her happiest running around and playing in a safe space. She’d do well with someone patient who’s familiar with escape-prone dogs, but she makes up for it in attitude and charm. Every animal carries their past, but Minnie has found her spark, and she’s ready for a fresh start. Your new best friend is just one click away.
