About Maddie

Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Maddie is an adorable little Terrier mix who has quickly charmed everyone she meets! She arrived from animal control and has thrived in her foster home, where she’s loved by adults, children, and other dogs alike—both big and small. Maddie is well housetrained and currently sleeps quietly in her crate, though she’d be thrilled to join her future family in the big bed for extra snuggles. Unlike many terriers, Maddie is a quiet girl who rarely barks, making her a wonderful companion for all sorts of households. She’s used to a fenced yard for play and potty time, so a home with a safe, secure yard would be perfect. Playful but gentle, Maddie enjoys her plush squeaky toys and loves to relax with them. Maddie’s ideal family can provide plenty of companionship during the day—someone who works from home or an active retiree would fit her needs perfectly. She’s leash-trained, rides well in the car, and is ready to join you on new adventures. Maddie is up-to-date on her vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped, so she arrives healthy and ready for her forever home. Forever Home Canine Rescue offers a three-week trial period to ensure the right fit for both family and pet. Please note that out-of-state adoptions are welcomed, but approved adopters must travel to North Carolina to meet Maddie in person and bring her home. This could be the start of something paw-some.
