About Lilly
Lilly is a small Terrier mix who landed at the rescue after a stint with Animal Control. She’s about two years old and needs a little time to warm up to new people, but once she’s comfortable, Lilly gets along with just about everyone. She’s house trained, sleeps peacefully in her crate, and clearly loves being part of the action. Her favorite thing? Tearing around a fenced yard, chasing squirrels, and chewing on sticks. A secured outdoor space would help her thrive. Lilly gets along well with other small dogs and is always up for a game of tug-of-war or a session with her squeaky toys. She needs a home where someone is around throughout the day; she isn’t suited for long stints home alone. She’d make a great fit for a work-from-home household or an active retiree. With plenty of energy to burn, she’s ready for long walks or rides in the car, and would love to be part of family adventures. Lilly has her vaccinations up to date, is spayed, and microchipped. She tested negative for Heartworms and is on prevention. The rescue requires adopters to meet Lilly in North Carolina—there’s no shipping or transport option. A three-week trial is offered to make sure the adoption sticks. She’s a smart, loving, and energetic companion looking for the right match. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
