Beaux is a chocolate and tan, 9-year-old Miniature Dachshund in Barium Springs, NC, looking for a dedicated home. She arrived paralyzed but has since regained her mobility—now she loves to run, play, and keep moving. She’s happiest when out for a ride, whether it’s in a car, a boat, or even a wheelbarrow, as long as she’s not left home alone. Beaux has a high energy level for her age and enjoys the company of other dogs, though she’s quite independent and can entertain herself. She’s clever, sometimes mischievous, and will need a home ready to manage her curiosity, especially since she’s eager to take on stairs and hop off furniture—behaviors that require some monitoring for a Dachshund.
